We are sorry to report that
we will not be fielding a collegiate
Cobras squad in 2009, due to other coaching commitments.
We are all very proud of how much the players accomplished last
summer, and are pleased to report that they have continued to
follow up their summer success with solid baseball in their
respective Fall programs.
Thank you all for your support throughout the Summer of 2008,
and
good luck to all of these ball players next year.

as #2 in
the Western Region of
the American Amateur Baseball
Congress (AABC)
Stan Musial Division
The COBRAS Baseball Club is affiliated with the American
Amateur Baseball Congress (AABC) through the Nor-Cal Semi-Pro
Baseball Conference, with
post-season tournaments up through and including the AABC World
Series in Huntsville, Texas. The COBRAS also
participate in the Horizon Air Summer Series (HASS) hosted by the Yuba-Sutter Gold
Sox.
The
HASS program is a season-long competition among select summer
collegiate teams, and includes top teams from Alaska,
Washington, Oregon and California. These are wood bat leagues, with most of the COBRAS games scheduled
to be played in the Northern
California / Sacramento area.
